#132 “mouse ears”

132/365 “mouse ears”, originally uploaded by rosipaw.

It was +20 degrees in the sunshine today, and the birch tree leaves are bursting right in front of our eyes. In Finnish we call these tiny new leaves “mouse ears”.

All the different shades of green make the landscape very interesting before it all turns into the more uniform dark green of the summer. What a beautiful time of rebirth!
