#252 colour in the market square

I made the most of a warm and sunny afternoon, and went for a long, long walk in town, to capture interesting fronts of buildings for the Daily Shoot. Crossed the market square during my walk, too, and ended up choosing this splash of colour as my picture of the day.

Local apples are at their best. The marketplace was bursting with them, and they gleamed irresistibly in the late afternoon sunshine.

Mmm looks delicious – my problem with markets is I always buy too much – everything looks so nice and fresh.

Susan, I do the same if I specifically go shopping at the market square. Impulse buys are prevented by the fact that they only accept cash, and I am ‘a plastic money’ person.
